Tales of agriculture

Does anyone remember the tmamgotchis everyone used to have (and 7 or 8 year olds have now)? The little pixelized charecters on the screen that were sometimes soooo very cute and sometimes ...not so much. That was totally off topic but thats the first thing that pops into my head when I think of this anime (also was a manga series)


these little creatures (above) are microbs. Like microscopic organism, first known forms of life.
in this anime there is a boy/college student (sawaki) who can see microbs, but instead of amobiec shaped blobs they are little cute faced things (not to mention once in a while they talk to him) sawaki and his life long friend kei start at the collage of agriculture together

What usually happens topeople with supernatural powers....hmmm, once and a while they get EXPLOITED. first tests are run on poopr sawaki by a proffesior of the collage whom beez sawaki's father's friend, then by two upperclassmen who were caught brewing sake.

overall this series was veryt very cute I want a plushie of a microb soooooo very bad because they are amazing, not a huge deemeding plot, but its intresting enough. One thing I really enjoyed was the light humor the creators gave the whole thing, If put in the wrong hands a story like this could be a horibbly deep sci fi with toooooo much drama.

the scale is 1 to ten...hmmm i'd givethis a 7 its light funny and cute (i will continue watching) but not initially grabbing. solongz
